Images within articles will also be migrated to Shopify servers. No need to worry about images disappearing even if the old site is closed. *Note: Images cannot be migrated if the original server is cancelled or images are unreachable during import.

Layout depends on the theme and is outside the scope of the data import service. Please contact us separately for theme customization.
Any corrections or manual data adjustments after the import is complete will require a separate quote.
Precautions
- Target Data: Only standard 'post' types are covered (comments, etc., are excluded).\n- Migration Files: Requires export files such as XML or CSV.\n- Categories & Tags: All will be grouped as 'tags' per Shopify specifications.\n- Multi-language Blogs: Export base language only; set up multi-language on Shopify post-import.\n- URL Slugs: Non-standard characters are removed by default. Pre-configuration required to keep old structures.\n- Shortcodes: Conversion is handled automatically; individual per-article adjustments are not included.
- Skip Large Images: Images over 3MB are excluded to avoid errors.\n- Metafield Display: Showing metafield values requires separate theme customization.\n- Metafield Format: Only 'single-type' is supported; definitions must be pre-created in Shopify.\n- Parametric URLs: URLs containing ?pid=123 etc. cannot be auto-redirected using standard Shopify features.\n- Ranking Guarantee: 301 redirects assist SEO, but maintaining rankings is not guaranteed due to Google’s algorithms.
- Internal Link Correction: Rewriting URLs of links within articles that lead to other posts on the same site.\n- Individual Image Fixes: Fixing or replacing images that were already broken on the original site.\n- HTML Cleaning: Removing unnecessary HTML tags, etc.\n- Multiple Authors: Normally consolidated into a single author during import.
- Design Not Replicable: Only data (text/images) is migrated. Design depends on your Shopify theme; old layouts or unique features are not recreated.\n- No Individual Visual Inspection: Due to automated processing, we do not manually check every article or image (sampling only).\n- Post-Delivery Fixes: Import is based on specifications agreed upon during the test. Changes or manual adjustments after migration will incur fees.\n- URL Forwarding Check: Because mapping is automated, please verify yourself that redirects from the old site to the new site are working correctly after import.
